I am very big on composting. As a family of six, we only have about one can of garbage per week. (We are heavy on the recycling, too).
I had a plastic container on the counter for a long time for the daily collections. My wife preferred something a little nicer, and found this decorative compose collection unit. It even has a charcoal filter!
